Start by chatting to one of our expert design consultants to discuss your space, needs and design preferences. Once we’ve got a good idea about what you’re after, we’ll express ship free samples straight to your door. To make the most of your consultation, we’ve put together a checklist of what to prepare.

Once we’ve got an idea of what you’re after, we’ll send you free samples so you can be confident in your design decisions and get an idea of the quality.

Measure up

Things are starting to feel real now. Once you’re happy with your choices, it’s time to measure up your space, place your order and get excited. Follow our measurement guides, but if you’re not 100% confident, we can organise for a professional to come measure your space.

Install your new Home Design Co. products

Break out those tools – it’s time to start installing. Your new kitchen, wardrobes, laundry or storage for any room in the house will arrive ready to assemble. You can give it a go yourself or we can get a professional installer do the whole process. Remember, some appliances require a licenced electrician or plumber to install them.

Before you chat to our design consultants, there’s a few things to prepare to make sure the process is as easy as possible.

Measure your space

We don’t need things to be millimetre perfect, but just a rough idea of the width, length and height of your room, as well as existing appliances, powerpoints, windows and doors.

Style and colours

Whether you’re into Pinterest, saving collections on insta or a magazine clipper – we want to see all your inspo.

Layout and design

Think about how you’re going to use your space – do you want more bench space or more storage? Do you like the location of your current appliances? Do you prefer drawers or cupboards?

Who’s helping

Do you already have a favourite electrician or plumber to install your appliances? What about someone to help your rip out your existing kitchen? Will you be able to install the new cabinets by yourself?

Beneath your feet

Have a quick check to see what your current floor is made of – and then make sure you check out if your home is on stumps or concrete as this can affect costs of moving some appliances.
